Register to attend NAR’s Center for Financial Wellness 1031 Exchange Summit recorded three-part series event. Each presentation will range around an hour and a half with Q&A. Attendees will get a copy of the recording if they join late or need to jump off early.

The Louisiana Real Estate Commission has announced changes to renewal period deadlines. The renewal period for 2024 will begin August 1, 2023. When you complete your renewal during the upcoming renewal period, you are renewing for January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024. Please keep in mind these new deadlines when completing your renewal.
On-Time Renewals: August 1 - September 30
First Delinquent Period: October 1 - November 15
subject to a $50 delinquent fee
Second Delinquent Period: November 16 - December 31
subject to a $200 delinquent fee
Continuing Education Requirement:
The continuing education (CE) requirement of 12 hours for license renewal remains in place and must be completed by December 31, 2023. You may renew your license prior to completing your education. Failure to complete CE by the December 31 deadline will be considered a violation of LREC law and rules and you will be subject to a fine.
Licensees are also required to prove that they have purchased Errors and Omissions coverage for January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024. This can be done either by selecting the LREC group insurance policy or submitting an Independent E&O Coverage form and a copy of your policy declaration page during renewal.
