Louisiana REALTORS® License Plates
Roll up in REALTOR® Style
Show off your REALTOR® pride every time you go for a drive! These specialty Louisiana REALTORS® license plates are the perfect way to identify and promote your REALTOR® status across the markets in which you serve. Furthermore, your purchase of this plate will help strengthen the REALTOR® family. All proceeds will go toward the Louisiana REALTORS® Disaster Relief Fund to help those who have been impacted by natural disasters.
Get your plate in a few simple steps.
You must provide proof of your NRDS ID via your NAR membership card and a completed consent form in order to purchase a plate.
Request A Plate Online
- Go to www.expresslane.org.
- Go to the "Vehicles" tab, and click "Plates."
- On the "Plates" landing page, select "Special/Personalized Plates" and then click "Specialty Plates."
- Once brought to the new screen, hit "Continue."
- Enter your current plate and then click "Continue."
- Click the "Organization/Service" category at the top and click "Louisiana REALTORS®" in the scroll down menu.
- Click "Ordering Details" and then "Order Form."
- Fill out the form and then print it out (You can right click and then press print).
- Gather your corresponding documents:
- A completed consent form
- A copy of your NAR membership card
- A copy of your current vehicle's registration
- Proof of insurance
- A check for the appropriate amount
- *If you are on the "Reserved Plate List," make sure that you also write your plate number at the top of your printed application
- Mail your application and all of the documentation listed above to:

Baton Rouge, LA 70896 - After all required documents are received and verified, your plate will be mailed to you.
Pick Up A Plate in Person
Plates may be issued in-person at one of the following places:
- Your local Office of Motor Vehicles or a Public Tag Agency
- The Specialized Vehicle Unit (7979 Independence Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70806)
Please reach out to your local office before visiting to ensure availability and to see if an appointment is required at that particular location.
You will need to bring your driver's license, NAR membership card and proof of insurance with you if you are applying for a plate in person.
Fees Involved
There are three categories of fees that a REALTOR® will be charged to obtain this license plate:
- A royalty fee is required for this plate. The proceeds of this fee go directly to the Louisiana REALTORS® Disaster Relief Fund to provide assistance to those affected by disasters.
- OMV collects an $8.00 handling fee on all non-renewal vehicle transactions, as well as a one-time $3.50 administrative fee for all specialty plates. There are also various convenience fees charged by OMV depending upon the payment method you select.
- In order to issue this plate to your vehicle, OMV may be required to add additional months to your registration to give a full 2-year registration period. Any additional months would be factored into your total fees due. Credit for any months already applied to your vehicle registration will be given as well.
