An Overview of Louisiana Property Taxes - Join Us for a Free Webinar

The state and local tax structure is expected to be a hot topic in the 2023 legislative session and the 2023 fall statewide elections. This topic will include discussions about property taxes, the statewide homestead exemption, and how state law requires local governments to raise revenue to fund local services.

In anticipation of these discussions, Louisiana REALTORS® commissioned Advantous Consultants, a leading Louisiana tax consulting firm, to create a property tax and homestead exemption primer for members to use in their business and as discussions unfold throughout the legislative session and statewide elections.

Below is a recording of a webinar held by Louisiana REALTORS® and Jason DeCuir and Bob Adair of Advantous Consulting.
