NAR Requests Email Address Verification
Louisiana REALTORS • January 19, 2021
The National Association of REALTORS® is asking that REALTOR® members around the country read and respond to an email requesting verification of their email addresses. This is to ensure that contact information is up-to-date before an update occurs at the end of this month to the National REALTOR® Database System (NRDS) platform. Beginning January 22, REALTORS® will receive the message directly from NAR with the information and steps to take.
The record system commonly referred to as NRDS is used by your local, state and national associations to notify you of important updates, changes and issues. This update allows for enhanced features and accuracy. Failure to complete this verification could result in REALTORS® missing important communications.
We ask that REALTORS® take a minute of their time to assist in this process. Below are screen shots of what the email will look like and what is being asked.
The Sender will be:
National Association of REALTORS® (verifyemail@nar.realtor)
The Subject of the Email will be:
Please confirm your email address for the National Association of REALTORS®
The Content will read:
Included in the email will be a button (also as a link) that members should click. Once clicked, the screen below will appear.
And that's it! Once the member clicks the link, the email will be verified.
For questions, please contact your local association or us at info@larealtors.org.
