The 2023 Legislative Session adjourned Thursday, June 8th. Legislators debated hundreds of bills with wide raising topics. The Louisiana REALTORS® Bill Review Team reviewed and determined Louisiana REALTORS® position on almost two hundred of these bills with topics ranging from taxes, homeowners’ associations, and property insurance. NAR is pleased to share the latest consumer guide about contract contingencies and clauses that buyers and sellers may encounter in a real estate transaction. The guide defines common contingencies and clauses and helps consumers understand what happens if the terms aren’t fulfilled.
